Configure Citrix Permissions

Symptoms

If you have trouble uploading or downloading files, you may receive the following error message:

Save As PDF Error

This error message appears when the "Allow Reading Only" option is chosen.

Resolution

  1. Right-Click the Citrix Workspace icon in the Notification area: Citrix-Icon

    Note: If you cannot find the icon, check the hidden icons tray:

  2. Click Connection Center in the menu: Click Connection Center

  3. Click Preferences to view options for File Access and Connections: Connection-Center-window

    The Citrix Workspace Connection Center is divided into two sections. The section on the left displays your connections. Buttons for session options are displayed on the right-hand side of the Citrix Workspace Connection Center window.


  4. Verify that the radio button for Read and write is on. This will enable all features and functions in hosted solutions: Click-Read-Write

  5. Click Apply to save settings: Click-Preferences-Apply

Click OK to close the Preferences window.

Click Close to close the Citrix Workspace Connection Center window.
